Woof! Woof! Woof!
Welcome to my first- ever blog, whatever a blog actually is. Bit of a stupid word. All these modern words are a bit beyond me sometimes, even though I am an above-average English Springer spaniel.
My “master” thinks he is charge, but he lives in a bit of Piscean dream world. I’m the boss here – never mind Bruce Springsteen fans referring to Bruce as The Boss – there’s only one boss and it’s me. I thought it was time to lay to rest all those rumours spread by the master that “he’s only a dog”. Oh, I think not, matey boy. So, this blog is my take on life from near pavement level, the view of the doggie proletariat.
I’ll try and keep you all up to date every week, but it depends on when there is free time. He’s a bit busy for a retired chap, what with his music events and local Festival involvement.
I was prompted to start my little blog at this particular time by all the strange (and frightening) events going on in the world. Trump, May, Corbyn, dreadful bombs, chaos and carnage everywhere…I just don’t understand what is happening. I’m used to a quiet life, good walks, lots of chasing the ball, good food, splendid friends but it all seems to be very confused these days in the great wide open.
No doubt I will be writing about politics, current affairs, football, music, cookery, life, friends, family and much more over the next few months. I will try and keep you amused, even the odd photo of my handsome self, as I lead the master into this great new technological world.
I will finish by telling you that the new album by Emily Barker – Sweet Kind of Blue http://www.emilybarker.com, is fantastic. She played at the boy’s Music in the Hall in January, apparently another pretty young lady with whom he has fallen in love.
His other latest flame is Chastity Brown, her new album Silhouettes of Sirens being constantly played before she turns up here to sing in couple of weeks http://chastitybrownmusic.com
I’m off to watch May v Corbyn later this evening, that should a barrel of laughs.
